Membership Eligibility
Not sure whether you are eligible for Philanthropy Australia membership? Uncertain of which category is appropriate for you or your organisation? The points below will assist you.
-
If you represent a family, private, corporate or community trust or foundation whose primary philanthropic activities are grantmaking/giving then you can become a Full Member of Philanthropy Australia.
-
Do you represent a corporate body (i.e. a for-profit entity) that has a giving program but does not have a separate trust or foundation? If so, you can become an Associate of Philanthropy Australia.
-
Individual philanthropists are encouraged to become a Full Member of Philanthropy Australia.
-
If the body that you represent both seeks funding (as grantseekers and/or through other fundraising activities) and disperses funds (as grantmakers/givers), Philanthropy Australia's Associate membership is the most appropriate for you.
- Individuals and businesses seeking funding are not eligible for membership with Philanthropy Australia, but can find relevant resources in our Seeking Funding? section.
-
Bodies that seek funding (as grantseekers and/or through fundraising activities) in order to conduct charitable programs will find Resource Centre Subscription useful.
